with no visible pickup. Your next surprise will be the fidelity
- the specially designed nylon-core bronze strings from Thomastik-Infeld
of Austria, the unique coaxial piezo pickup and the 18-volt Highlander
pre-amp deliver a touch and sensitivity that give your fingertips
a whole new level of control, with punchy tones right down to
a thunderous low B. All this in a package that weighs less than
5.5 lbs!. Simply vary your attack to go from frighteningly realistic
upright tone to cutting rock bottom.
Compared to traditional basses, Renaissance instruments deliver a much broader frequency
range, allowing a variety of expression limited only by your fingers.
Models include 4-string 34" scale and 5-string 35" scale
with fretted or fretless fingerboards.

STANDARD FEATURES |
BODY:
Renaissance Ampli-Coustic basses have a cedar top with clear poly finish,
.008" film thickness. Back and sides are walnut or cherry finished with oil-modified urethane.
Full faux tortoise binding.
ELECTRONICS:
All models feature Turner-designed piezo bridge pickup and an 18 volt
Highlander pre-amp with low-noise volume and tone controls.

| CUSTOM OPTIONS |
BODY:
Wood upgrade options for back and sides include quilted Western
big leaf maple, tiger-striped Western big leaf maple, Indian rosewood and figured Hawaiin koa.
All wood upgrades include rope top purfling; abalone purfling (with matching headstock) is also
available. Finish upgrades include vintage sunburst or solid black with white Corian bridge.
NECK:
Neck upgrades include bird's-eye maple and optional 5-layer contrasting
veneer laminate on back of peghead. Left-handed construction available.
